Brutalist Residence with Layered Landscape Integration

This residential project explores the raw beauty of Brutalist architecture, reflecting strength, honesty in materials, and timeless character. The facade is articulated with exposed concrete textures paired with handcrafted brick cladding, creating a bold and tactile visual composition. True to Brutalism, the structure is defined by geometric forms, rigid massing, and deep voids that allow interplay of light and shadow.
A key feature of this project is the seamless integration of landscape throughout the built form. Responding to the client’s passion for greenery, terrace gardens, and planter pockets are strategically embedded into the design, softening the rugged materiality and fostering a harmonious indoor-outdoor connection.
The residence balances raw expression with livability, resulting in a home that is architecturally bold, functionally efficient, and deeply connected to nature.
